In Kandy, you’ll witness the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic and explore museums, markets, and gardens. The city’s vibrant traditions and cultural performances make it a destination full of heritage and charm.
Nuwara Eliya, known as “Little England,” offers misty hills, tea plantations, waterfalls, and botanical gardens. The region’s cool climate and scenic beauty provide the perfect escape into nature.
The adventure continues at Horton Plains, where breathtaking views and unique wildlife await, before your journey concludes with a return to Colombo. This compact tour offers a well-rounded experience of Sri Lanka’s hill country.

- Arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Sri Lanka.

- Overnight at Kandy Hotel.
- After having breakfast proceed to sightseeing at the Sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy and the museum at the temple. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site mainly due to the temple.
- Visit Gem Museum — a museum exhibiting rare minerals found in Sri Lanka. The museum also gives its visitors detailed knowledge in how Sri Lankan minerals and gems outshine the ones found around the world.
- Visit authentic Sri Lankan Art, Craft, Batik & Silk Clothing Factory.
- Observe Kandy Public Market.
- Take a leisurely walk through the breathtaking Peradeniya Botanical Garden, home of over 4000 species of plants and trees.
- In the evening witness the mesmerizing movements and colorful costumes of Kandy’s traditional dancers, showcasing the island’s rich cultural heritage.

- After breakfast you will drive towards Nuwara Eliya with a stop to visit Kandy viewpoint. Nuwara Eliya is a city in the tea country hills of central Sri Lanka. The city is the administrative capital of Nuwara Eliya District, with a picturesque landscape and temperate climate. It is at an altitude of 1,868 m (6,128 ft) and is considered to be the most important location for tea production in Sri Lanka.
- En-route visit Temple Loop (Embekke Wood Carving Temple, Gadoladeniya Stone Carving Temple, Lankathilaka Image House).
- Explore Ramboda Waterfall.
- Visit Damro Labukele Tea Factory & Tea Shop.
- Visit Hakgala Botanical Garden — one of the five botanical gardens in Sri Lanka. The other four are Peradeniya Botanical Garden, Henarathgoda Botanical Garden, Mirijjawila Botanical Garden, and Seetawaka Botanical Garden. It is the second largest garden in Sri Lanka.
- Evening check in to Nuwara Eliya Hotel.

- Wake up early morning & travel to Horton Plains with breakfast packets. Explore the untouched wilderness of Horton Plains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. Discover the park’s unique flora and fauna, including the elusive leopard and the majestic sambar deer.
- Enjoy an interesting trek to explore World’s End & Baker’s Waterfall.
- Thereafter proceed to Katunayaka for your last night in paradise.
- Overnight at Negombo Hotel.
- After breakfast it’s time to head off to the airport for a safe flight back home.
